It's probably find weakness , because I clearly remember one day doing arenas against many teams w rogue and they weren't as half as bursty as now , and then that same night the find weakness bug "fix" then suddenly all rogues one shooting everything

Thease whiners are the kind of people that play the class just because it is buged, and have donated for the legendaries, for the same reason , they want to play an overpowered toon, even if it breaks the game , they are mindless biggots prepared to go to any measure to enforce their narrow minded oppinion that there is no bug , when it is clear as day that something is wrong.

This is true. Damage is reduced by armor first then whatever is left is reduced by resilience and then whatever remains is reduced by battle stance (in this case), so let's do some simple math.

(1-0.14)*(1-0.4586)*(1-0.05)= 0.86*0.5414*0.95 = 0.4423238

0.14 - armor
0.4586 - resilience
0.05 - battle stance

So let's take Blackworth's numbers, shall we?

1, A+B=C, that's what kind of proofs you brought, the damage you calculated from daggers was almost correct, as said before - the damage to ambush is applied from 1.7 speed, not from 1.8 - THAT'S WHY IT PROBABLY HITS LOWER THAN INTENDED ( it actually hits lower than backstab, sometimes, that is the bug )
2. 38k crit ambush on 5k resil WITH FULL PROCS on (~30k AP+30% damage buff for ambush after everything has been calculated + master of subtetly which adds up to the other damage modifier, you do realise 38k with that ammount of procs is beyond low?)
3. There is no point arguing, I am a rogue and i confirm that the damage done with ambush is lower than intended, i manage to hit with same procs/buffs with a backstab higher than I would with ambush. I cannot find the formulas nor I have the time to test it AND since it's not worth the effort anyways since it will be classified maybe after 6 months and then forgoten just like the other bug reports i did.

He opened another topic himself on ambush and he put a pic of a level 85 naked rogue with starter daggers , 80-81 damage , dealing a NON CRIT ambush for 1691 damage... with starter daggers..... but the thread disappeared , WHAT HAPPENED NERD?

Actually find weaknesses works fine. Tested and calculated the dmg in any possible way :

With fw on resil without armor
With fw on resil with armor
With fw on armor without resil
With fw without armor and without resil

Without fw on resil with armor
Without fw on resil without armor
Without fw on armor without resil
Without fw without armor without resil

Everything seems fine. Pritty sure the problem its not there. Ill look at the talents/dmg increases now.

bun bun, daca find weaknessu merge bine acum, inainte dc nu se vedea damageul asta imens care il da rogue-ul?
nu-mi spune ca subit dupa ce a fost rezolvat find weakness damageu la ambush a sarit de la 22k ( dau un numar aleatoriu) la 38k ( printul postat de nerd cand a luat in full procs ) ma rog... vor decide gmi or wtv daca e buguit sau e corecta formula:)

armor scaling is not linear

armor formula for 85

for that warrior: 46,89% dmg reduction means 23016 armor rating
after find weakness: 23016*0,3=6904 armor rating --> 20,93% dmg reduction

(1-0.2093)*(1-0.4586)*(1-0.05)= 0.4066 instead of 0.4423

min crit = 37518*0.4066=15254
max crit = 41755*0.4066=16977

if all other formulas are correct, damage seems fine

So its 60% not 40%. Anyway works fine, u can test it but i already did in all the possible ways.
