the drop rate from the daily quests bag is 20%. thats 13 daily quests for a 20%, every day. there are about 3-4 other rare mobs that have a drop rate of about 50-30%, they all spawn at different times so camping is easy, but the spawn times are about 2 hours each. there is no way to compete with hunter traps when waiting for mob spawns, only a DK could possibly compete with a hunter trap's instant aggro. the fact cross faction party/raid invites are impossible, reduces all of the above rate drops in half.

so camping rares is almost out of the question, not to mention having to fight them usually 490- gear. i understand the point is to grind dailies for a chance to rep the shadow pan dailies, but i dont remember it being this hard in the retail version because we had access to the thunder kings trove. im now exalted with sunreaver's and still have to grind out their dailies. they're not hard but they're just another thing that gets in the way of a chance to furthermore grind out another faction rep. so this is the current end content we have, camping a rare with about 5-7 people, half of them are the opposite faction, grinding out meaningless dailies for a small chance of a drop. keep in mind we need 3 of these stones.

its nice the original drop rates are available to us but we should be compensated for not having access to the thunder king's trove or being able to invite cross faction players to make camping easier. all this to have a chance to grind rep for the next faction.
