So...Avira just detected a virus called HEUR/APC (cloud)

Is this legit? Usually i dismiss these kind of things as false positives, but since my computer started acting strange (sudden restarts, bluescreens etc) after installing the client, i wanted to ask if u guys know about this (possible) virus in your client. As i said the moment i install wowfreakz's client my pc starts acting weird out of nowhere, thats why i even bother to mention it.


Im not accusing anyone with anything, i just want to know if u guys know about this already or not

So..Is it a false positive? Also by modifying you mean installing things or attempting to change things in windows? Because the bluescreen error code is "critical_process_died" which (according to some forum comments on tomshardware and others) means that one file is missing/ or modified by something.

Correct me if im wrong, but you have to modify the client to play on private servers, so its nothing unusual. Also, our client is clean, im using it myself for years, we all are.

In my experience blue screen of death is usually caused by driver malfunction. If it happens again, check your drivers for updates.

Alright! Thank you btw unrelated question, if i download the launcher instead of the torrent, will the game download the full game over time like a mini client?

Yes it will. But its longer and more annoying and i really dont see a reason for it.
