The Plate King: Arms or Retribution

Hi all!
I need some help in choosing what to roll between Arms Warrior and Retribution Paladin.
I like both classes very much, which makes the choice a little harder.
Regarding utility and burst dmg, I'm aware pally is far better than warr.
I like sustained dps more to be honest (even in pvp). I dont like to rely on a 2-3 min CD ability to do insane dmg, and then to be garbage, which I heard is the Ret's case.
If pally can perform at least 90% of Arms' dps, I'm sold to pally.
Which one would you say is better overall (Both pvp and pve)?

I can't really speak for PvP, but for PvE paladins are outperforming Arms severely. Fury however is much more viable then arms and would scale on a par if not higher then Ret.
