The Warfront Contributions Guide




For the glory of your faction, it’s time to pick up arms and… donate goodies to your faction. To help you be prepared for this, I have made a simple guide detailing all possible materials your faction might need.

Every day, if you are level 120, 3 daily quests will be active until enough has been contributed. 1 of these daily quests will always be 100 Gold or 100 War Resources (which are often obtained through World Quests or Emissary Quests), the other 2 will ask for profession related items.

Each time you complete one of these contribution quests, you get 500 Azerite and 150 reputation with either the 7th Legion for the Alliance or The Honorbound for the Horde.

For the preparations for the Arathi Warfront, you can be asked for the following materials.
Click on the spoilers for the explanation on how to obtain the materials. You could always buy things from the Auction House if you don’t have certain professions, though!


-20 x Akunda's Bite

Spoiler:

Akunda’s Bite can be gathered by Herbalists that have either Kul Tiran or Zandalari Herbalism at any skill level and is found in Vol’dun.

-2 x Battle Flag: Phalanx Defense

Spoiler:

Battle Flags can be made by Tailors that have either Kul Tiran or Zandalari Tailoring with a minimum skill level of 90. At rank 1, you’ll need 15 Tidespray Linen (which is mostly obtained from humanoid mobs in the BfA zones), 10 Embroidered Deep Sea Satin (which is crafted with 100+ KT/Zandalari Tailoring, using Tidespray Linen, Deep Sea Satin (which is also dropped by humanoids, but more rare) and 5 Nylon Threads) and finally 20 Nylon Threads (which are sold by Tailoring Supplies vendors.)

-2 x Battle Flag: Rallying Swiftness

Spoiler:

Battle Flags can be made by Tailors that have either Kul Tiran or Zandalari Tailoring with a minimum skill level of 90. At rank 1, you’ll need 15 Tidespray Linen (which is mostly obtained from humanoid mobs in the BfA zones), 10 Embroidered Deep Sea Satin (which is crafted with 100+ KT/Zandalari Tailoring, using Tidespray Linen, Deep Sea Satin (which is also dropped by humanoids, but more rare) and 5 Nylon Threads) and finally 20 Nylon Threads (which are sold by Tailoring Supplies vendors.)

Course Leather is a common type of leather that can be gathered by players with either Kul Tiran or Zandalari Skinning and is obtained from most beasts.

-5 x Course Leather Barding

Spoiler:

Course Leather Barding is made by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Leatherworkers with a minimum skill level of 85. At rank 1, you’ll need 25 Course Leather to craft one.

-10 x Coastal Healing Potion

Spoiler:

Coastal Healing Potion can be crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Alchemists with a minimum skill level of 25. At rank 1, you’ll need 1 Crystal Vial (sold by Alchemy Supplies vendors) and 3 Siren’s Pollen (which is an Herb that is found in BfA near bodies of water.

-10 x Coastal Mana Potion

Spoiler:

Coastal Mana Potion can be crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Alchemists with a minimum skill level of 25. At rank 1, you’ll need 1 Crystal Vial (sold by Alchemy Supplies vendors) and 3 Riverbud (which is an Herb that is found in BfA near rivers) to craft one.

-20 x Deadly Solstone

Spoiler:

Deadly Solstone can be crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Jewelcrafters with a minimum skill level of 15. You’ll need a Solstone (which can be obtained through Prospecting Storm Silver Ore, Platinum Ore or Monelite Ore) to craft one.

-2 x Drums of the Maelstrom

Spoiler:

Drums of the Maelstrom can be crafted by a Kul Tiran or Zandalari Leatherworker with a minimum skill level of 150. You’ll need 25 Course Leather (which can be commonly found when Skinning in BfA) and 10 Blood-Stained Bones (which can be obtained through BfA Skinning as well, but mostly from rare spawns or at lower drop rates) to craft one.

-2 x Enchant Ring - Seal of Critical Strike

Spoiler:

Enchant Ring - Seal of Critical Strike can be crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Enchanting with a minimum skill level of 25. At rank 1, you’ll need 12 Gloom Dust (which is obtained by disenchanting uncommon quality (green) equipment from BfA) to craft one.

-2 x Enchant Ring - Seal of Versatility

-2 x Frost-Laced Ammunition

Frost-Laced Ammunition is crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Engineers with a minimum skill level of 50. At rank 1, you’ll need 20 Monelite Ore (which can be obtained with Kul Tiran or Zandalari Mining from Monelite Veins), 10 Chemical Blasting Caps (which are sold by Engineering Supplies vendors) and 15 Insulated Wiring (which are sold by Engineering Supplies vendors) to craft one.

-20 x Gloom Dust

Gloom Dust can be obtained by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Enchanters at any skill level. It can be obtained by disenchanting uncommon quality (green) equipment found in BfA zones.

-40 x Great Sea Catfish

Spoiler:

Great Sea Catfish can be obtained through Kul Tiran or Zandalari Fishermen in numerous BfA zones. The catch rates are around 50% and below, depending on the zone.

-5 x Grilled Catfish

Spoiler:

Grilled Catfish can be made by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Cooks with a minimum skill level of 15. At rank 1, you’ll need 5 Great Sea Catfish (which can be fished up in numerous BfA zones) to make 5 (with higher levels making more from 5 catfish.)

-2 x Incendiary Ammunition

Spoiler:

Incendiary Ammunition is crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Engineers with a minimum skill level of 50. At rank 1, you’ll need 20 Monelite Ore (which can be obtained with Kul Tiran or Zandalari Mining from Monelite Veins), 10 Chemical Blasting Caps (which are sold by Engineering Supplies vendors) and 15 Insulated Wiring (which are sold by Engineering Supplies vendors) to craft one.

-2 x Meaty Haunch

Spoiler:

Meaty Haunch can be obtained from various beasts in the BfA zones. Drop rates aren’t 100%, so you’ll have to find a spot you like to farm them.

-2 x Monel-Hardened Hoofplates

Spoiler:

Monel-Hardened Hoofplates are crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Blacksmiths with a minimum skill level of 80. At rank 1, you’ll need 25 Monelite Ore (which can be obtained with Kul Tiran or Zandalari Mining from Monelite Veins) and 2 Durable Flux (which are sold by Blacksmithing Supplies vendors) to craft one.

-2 x Monel-Hardened Stirrups

Spoiler:

Monel-Hardened Stirrups are crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Blacksmiths with a minimum skill level of 80. You’ll need 25 Monelite Ore (which can be obtained with Kul Tiran or Zandalari Mining from Monelite Veins) and 2 Durable Flux (which are sold by Blacksmithing Supplies vendors) to craft one.

-20 x Monelite Ore

Monelite Ore can be mined from Monelite Deposits, Monelite Seams and Rich Monelite Deposits, which can be found throughout all BfA zones.

-3 x Organic Discombobulation Grenade

Spoiler:

Organic Discombobulation Grenade is crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Engineers with a minimum skill level of 25. At rank 1, you’ll need 6 Monelite Ore (which can be obtained with Kul Tiran or Zandalari Mining from Monelite Veins), 5 Chemical Blasting Caps (which are sold by Engineering Supplies vendors) and 8 Insulated Wiring (which are sold by Engineering Supplies vendors) to craft one.

-20 x Seasoned Loins

Spoiler:

Seasoned Loins are crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Cooks with a minimum skill level of 85. At rank 1, you’ll need 10 Stringy Loins (which are obtained from various beasts in BfA) and 5 Foosaka (which are sold by Cooking Supplies vendors) to craft 5 (with higher ranks crafting more.)

-100 x Shimmerscale

Shimmerscales can be gathered by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Skinners from various beasts with tough hides, like direhorns, stingrays and crocs)

-2 x Steelskin Potion

Steelskin Potion can be crafted by Kul Tiran Alchemists with a minimum skill level of 60. At rank 1, you’ll need 1 Crystal Vial (sold by Alchemy Supplies vendors), 15 Sea Stalk (which is an Herb that is found in BfA near the sea) and 10 Riverbud (which is an Herb that is found in BfA near rivers) to craft one.

-15 x Straddling Viridium

Spoiler:

Straddling Viridium can be crafted by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Jewelcrafters with a minimum skill level of 15. You’ll need Viridium (which can be obtained through Prospecting Storm Silver Ore, Platinum Ore or Monelite Ore) to craft one.

Scarlet Diamond can be prospected by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Jewelcrafters from Storm Silver Ore, Platinum Ore or Monelite Ore.

-40 x Seasoned Steak and Potatoes

Spoiler:

Seasoned Steak and Potatoes can be cooked by Kul Tiran or Zandalari Cooks with a minimum skill level of 90. At rank you, you’ll need 6 Thick Paleo Steak (which can be obtained from various beasts in mostly Zuldazar), 5 Fresh Potatoes (which are sold by Cooking Supplies vendors), 2 Foosaka (which are sold by Cooking Supplies vendors) and 2 Aromatic Fish Oil (which can be obtained from the various fish caught in BfA zones. Don’t use the Great Sea Catfish for this!) to craft 5 (higher ranks will produce more.)

-5 x Shimmerscale Diving Helmet
