Doug Harris, un tip simpatic dar cam inadaptat social ºi cu foarte puþini prieteni, este pe cale sã facã pasul cel mare cãsãtorindu-se cu iubita lui. Cu douã sãptãmâni rãmase pânã la nuntã, Doug are o problemã: încã nu are un cavaler de onoare. Încercând sã salveze situaþia ºi onoarea, acesta apeleazã la serviciile lui Jimmy, directorul Best Man Inc., o companie specializatã în furnizarea de falºi-prieteni numai buni pentru situaþii cum este cea în care se aflã Doug.
