The server usually goes down for a few minutes around 9:30 pm my time. Today when it came back up all of my characters were gone....wtf? the realm list still says i have 10 characters on the server. Is it just a bug that will hopefully be fixed soon?

Probably you shared the account with someone and he deleted them. Recover you characters from here : https://www.wow-freakz.com/character_list.php
