Why are monks unpopular and not priest?

Priest was supposed to be umpopular class and monk was supposed to be popular
Edit: monk have a tank spec and priest doesnt have
So monk win because they have a tank spec Monk population : 3.77% Priest population : 4.31%

I don't see the point in this...

Maybe because a lot of players already played monk on MoP and they want to try something new (except dh).

BTW: Brewmaster is the worst tank.

Brewmasters have the highest skill cap to master and play properly, they are considered top tanks through all Legion starting from the patch we are playing , they are not the worst tanks , they are almost the best , people just suck with them.
