Allo,
Today I decided to play WOW again after being gone a few years. I couldn't even remember which private server I had originally been on, and none in the list sounded familiar. So, I decided to just choose one and go with that. Which means, I guess since I am here, that I chose FREAKZ. I did the full torrent download, which literally took all day to download. So, when it was finally done I thought yay, I can go in, choose character/race etc...but that wasn't the case.
When I tried the launcher...launcher_freakz-735-64.exe for 64-bit version....not the freakz735-64.exe....I waited then all of a sudden the black box opens that looks like the cmd box....and says: freakz Internal error #1, please report this on the forums Error Code: 5

then a small white box opens shortly after saying: World of Warcraft was not able to connect to the network data source. For help fixing this issue, please see: https://battle.net/support/article/7411

I have been all over in the forum section on how to troublshoot this and nothing is working. I've reset my router, I've turned antivirus and firewall off etc...
Please tell me is there something I am missing? I would really like to start playing the game.

We are a Battle for Azeroth server, that's why you can no longer access the game via the Legion launcher.

You can download the correct version of the game from here.

I thought that is what I downloaded. In my QBittorrent it says: World of Warcraft 7.3.5 - Freakz.zip
But, I will try again. The only thing I haven't tried is using ethernet cord to connect to modem, as I cannot find mine. I'll have to wait to get a new one.
I used the 1st method to download in full. I had started download around 2pm yesterday. It didn't finish downloading until well after 7pm. Then apparent had to extract the files too, which took awhile as well.

Okay that seemed to have worked...well I've not got past login screen yet, whereas I didn't get that far before. Anyway, I did some addons. I followed the instructions you have in the forums here. But, when I start the launcher, I don't see the addons button....when I played before, I found it on the bottom left of the login screen. So what do I do about that? I downloaded and extracted right into the interface/addons folder.

Make sure that you got the right version of the addons, any 8.3.x version should work just fine.

They may not be displayed otherwise.
