so i joined arena on a new char. with a partner that never did arena. why am i facing people at 1700+ rating ?

Maybe because they was waiting 5 mins or so in que, and they get random team to fight. Don't forget it's freakz, it's even possible in low mmr like 1700...

that's stupid. getting rolled over by higher rated [yes i know 1700 is low, but it's high for ppl without macros/keybindings/etc. lol] and higher geared teams is just going to discourage people unfamiliar with arena from doing it again. that's why everyone pve's, because most "pvpers" use lowbies for their superiority complexes lol. and note, i am not qq'n about anything with myself lol, i do pretty good on all my characters [an argument could be made about my hunter, a lil fail on him

]. maybe mmr dropping exists here?

and what to do for those who have to wait a lot ? ;/ lol if there are no teams in my mmr so in you position i shouldnt go arena in that time.. this would be unfair too.

Yes,I think.It's stupid to see full cata people dropping MMR to 0 and start raping noobs to get 100-0.But I guess that's the best way to get yourself "respected" among these "Pew Pewers".

Because the MMR system needs you to do some arenas before establishing what MMR you have, it needs some numbers to work with first, that is why when you do arenas for the first time, you may face higher MMR people

Fixes will be live only after a server restart !
