Cea mai mare bucurie a unei tinere cu ghinion in dragoste este sa fie domnisoara de onoare la nuntile prietenelor ei. Dupa 27 de astfel de evenimente (si de rochii), ea trebuie sa-i fie domnisoara de onoare sorei ei. O singura problema: viitorul sot al acesteia este chiar barbatul de care protagonista este indragostita de ani de zile. Sa dezvolte interesant acest subiect generos de comedie romantica sta pe umerii lui Anne Fletcher, regizoarea filmului Step Up.
