You have here a guide that contain most of the important things that you have to know as a feral druid in cataclysm pvp, hope this will be usefull.




Use THESE TALENTS to play more offensive and THESE TALENTS to play more defensive.
Offensive talents works better combined with a healer and Defensive talents works with a dps.



Prime Glyphs :

- Glyph of Berserk
- Glyph of Rip
- Glyph of Shred
or you can replace one of them with
- Glyph of Tiger's Fury
- Glyph of Mangle, in my opinion is not so usefull because in cataclysm, shred is the main spell because of the talent: Rend and Tear (wowhead link)

Major Glyphs :

- Glyph of Barkskin
- Glyph of Feral Charge
- Glyph of Innervate -> if you play with a healer or dual dps in case your partner is a spell caster.
or
- Glyph of Faerie Fire -> would work better with a melee dps .

Minor Glyphs :

- Glyph of Dash
- Glyph of Mark of the Wild
- Glyph of Unburdened Rebirth

Socket all with Delicate Inferno Ruby * and Agile Shadowspirit Diamond for meta.

If you want to recieve bonus, use :

Red : Delicate Inferno Ruby
Blue : Shifting Demonseye / Glinting Demonseye if you need hit
Yellow : Adept Ember Topaz / Lucent Ember Topaz if you play defensive.
*If you have jewelcrafting, use 3x Delicate Chimera's Eye



First of all you need : Hit Rating around 5-6 % and Spell Penetration 100 because you have dud and pala buffs that gives you 97 spell resistanceand you don't want your cyclone to get resisted you can solve this with 2 Stormy Ocean Sapphire

Now the important stats

The most important stat for a feral druid is Agility, use agility enchants as many as possible . Second stat is Mastery, it increases your bleed damage which for a feral pvp druid are most important. Third stat is critical strike. Reforge your Haste si Expertise in Mastery / Critical Strike

1. Try to do the following stuff during a duel/arena. First of all you should always apply Mangle on your target so your bleed damage and shred will increase with 30%, then pay attention to keep rake up on your targetr because if you have it, your shred damage will increase with 20% because of Rend and Tear (wowhead link)talent and also increases your critical strike on Ferocious Bite with 25%. And the third thing you should keep on your target is Rip. Rip is the main source of damage for a feral druid so don't neglect that.

2. An efficient way to open a duel is: Pounce , mangle , rake (if you don't have 5 combo add one shred / mangle) at 5 combo Maim , if your opponent uses trinket, cyclone +1-2 lifebloom (and then you can go in stelath). Then, you reopen without cyclone and restealth because he will suffer from diminishing return and you wont have enough time.

3. Switching target in arena: attack till 50-60% hp, then Cyclone and switch on healer (because the cycloned target won't benefit from heal/bubble from paladins) then after the 2nd cyclone on the dps switch with cyclone on healer and come back at the dps - they will be unable to recieve heal.

4. Skull Bash its a very usefull spell which was added in cataclysm. If you use Skull Bash on a spell cast you block his cast for 4 seconds which is very important. For example you can bond skull bash, cat form with main 5 seconds with bash bear 3 seconds and then skull bash again because it has 10s CD if you added points in Brutal Impact (wowhead link). In meantime you can damage enough to force a healer to use it's defensive cd, also increases the cost of spells with 10% which means that if you skull bash a healer on CD he will use 10% times more mana constantly.

5. Using CC (Crown Control) - it is very important for a druid to use CC to make his life easier in arenas.
Entangling Roots , 8 sec pvp duration then suffers from DR ( diminish return) , Hibernate , Cyclone lasts only 5 secunde but during Cyclone yor target is frozen and can't use anything except the trinket. Nature's Grasp it's also usefull vs melee classes.

Every profession has it's own ups and downs but i think the best combination would be enchanting tailoring because of the bonuses for rings + back enchant.

Duel tips

Vs Rogue – start with bear form , add many bleeds on him + demoralizing roar and activate Frenzied Regeneration. If he used Evastion, wait till it expire and go cat form and activate survival instincts + berserk.
Vs Warriors – Max bleed on 'em and try to stay away from their damage.
Vs Paladins – They will instant heal whenever they can, but whatever, do it too. And if you can, skull bash their cast so they will consume more mana with their spells.
Vs Hunters – Stay close to them and use skull bash.
Vs Death Knights – Dunno vs dk.
Vs Mage – God help you.
Vs Warlock – Keep your trinket for when you use Berserk because it wont remove fear anymore.
Vs Priests – Use Berserk after Physhic Screm.
Vs Shaman – Try not to let them cast and interrupt their spells with maim, skull bash, charge bear.



Alliance - Night Elf - shadowmeld - helps you to get rid of combat + restealth if you are quick enough. Worgen is not worthed for it's crit.
Horde - Tauren - warstomp - helps you in some situations to cast a cyclone, also a tiny HP bonus. Troll worths only if you play as a spell caster for the haste bonus.
