Yes you cannuke him alone, but if you can afford to kill him you have like 3-4 seconds to loot him, after that he expires and you can't get the loot if you wasn't fast enough...

My proof, in the first pic i'm with 0% of haste so no reduction per weapon swing - 3.60 how it should be
in the second pic i'm with 28% haste so there is a reduction, it says 2.81 per weap swing but it should be ~ 2.60
