In English if you use the term Devil, you have an article besides it that makes it "the Devil". But if you decide on using his name Satan, you do not use an article as "the" because Satan comes from Ha'shatan in Hebrew meaning "The opposer".

So the Satan isn't coming. Satan maybe, but I seriously doubt it.

Also, Satan is a proper name, therefore he can't be "the".
