Right, given the gibberish google is translating your reply into I can only assume you didn't read the tooltip.
It's supposed to lower the intoxication level, not raise it.

Actually, if you scroll down on that same wowhead page you'll see that it got fixed later on. Thus, it was a bug on their side as well.

It would appear that Blizz does think that coffee helps, since this is the second time they've made it induce soberness. The first time was at the end of Ogri'la attunement questline when during huge ogre party you're presented with two types of kegs, beer and coffee. Yup, the second helps if you overdo the first

/nerd-mode off.

And I really thought that if I'd try helping someone get the Kara achievement, I'd have some remedy for the drunk effect and not have to die constantly (for the effect to disappear)..
