Descrierea bugului / Bug description: This talent is supposed to give three different buffs (shallow insight, moderate insight, deep insight) which increase the physical damage taken by the rogues target respectively by 10/20/30 %. I heard from other rogues that you dont see the buff but the dps increase is existent , but when i tested this the dps increase was really minor. From the pic's i provided you can see that sinister strike did benefit a lot from this talent , but my autoattacks didn't. So i guess the increase is there even thou there is no visual buff but its not 30%. Please reply and if needed i will test this with you or you can test it yourselves TY anyway .
Dovada / Proof: I used only sinister strike (130) on both tests , here are the results :
Test1 : Without Bandit's Guile
Test2 : With Bandit's Guile 3/3

This is a a well known bug . ( http://forum.wow-freakz.com/Rogue-Bandit-s-Guile-Nefunctional-TESTAT-t137986-15.html most of the replies are in romanian . )

If you think about this bug its not a high lose of dps cause our Sinister Strike have increase dmg the whole boss fight .

Aniway a major bug that needs fix ASAP .

Mate the only problem as we concluded from my topic is that the 30% damage increase is provided from the first sinister and lasts for the whole encounter so it's basically a positive bug if we can call it that way. The things that need to be fixed regarding this are: the insights should be provided in steps after one complete cicle (meaning 4SS+1RvS) and to fall off for 30 seconds after Deep Insight is finished and that it should provide additional damage for white hits as well. Having in mind that all your abilities do 30% more damage on every fight I think that it is a fair trade that the damage is not provided for white hits also.

you have a point there but its like a burst dps for the start and its not really that good of a trade because the mastery + white hits are a bigg amount of our dps and the deep insight gets refreshed for every sinister strike you do , meaning that after you get the 30% bonus it is up during all the fight unless you change target ( unless you change target with redirect which i mentioned will change the talents target too and the buff will still be there ) so yea ... i guess the developers wont bother but the overall dps increase is 10% whilst it should be 30% on single target bosses ( it would take you 12 sinister strikes / revealing strikes which means 4 ss/rs not 4 ss and 1 rs any combination of 4 strikes ( checked this on elitistjerks ) so yea on single target bosses its a 30% dps increase , while on omnitron or maloriak hc it would be conisdered at least 20% ( at least 8 strikes per target and remember the redirect ) . Thats it if the devs do not consider 20% more dps a MUST FIX then ok w.e but it is a huge dps increase, i do know that locks need most fixes for now since they lack a lot so i wont argue on who's got the priority but it would be a decent fix.

im sorry i did now notice that main gouche does indeed benefit too and instant poison ... but melee dmg doesnt so yea ... our biggest source of damage is melee plz fix

My dear friend I can guarantee you that Deep Insight only lasts for 15 Seconds and then has a 30 Sec ICD till the next shallow is applied from my blizzard experience so this talent although not working properly does not provide any disadvantage for us rogues having in mind that your SS, RvS, Eviscerate have a constant 30% damage increase buff, I'm not found of this bug either that is why I posted it a long time ago but at the moment I do believe that the mechanic is too hard to script so it's better at least momentarily if it stays the same.

LE: Redirect does not move the Insight on Freakz (a thing demonstrated by rofly) and I can assure you that most rogues do not use it unless it's for the bug -.

yea i checked just now you are right ... it was just a misslead by a comment on youtube and wowhead ... well then i guess theres nothing more to talk about ... seems like a fair trade.
