Today we will learn how to make a simple layout !!

This is my result :



Make a new document 800 x 600px with #f5f5f5 color for the background !

Now we have to make a new layer , select rectangular marquee tool and draw a rectangle like this :

Go to blending options [ Right click on the layer -> Blending options ] , select Gradient tool and use this gradient :

Now make a new layer , select rectangular marquee tool and draw a new rectangle

Fill it with any color you want and then go to blending options -> gradient overlay . Use this settings :

Duplicate this layer and move it down : .

Make a new layer , draw a new rectangle : .

Go to Edit -> Fill and select #000000 [black] color . .

Make a new layer and select and select rounded rectangle tool

. .

Use this settings for rounded rectangle tool : .

Draw a rectangle , go to blending options -> gradient overlay and use this setting : .

Make a selection of this layer select rectangle marquee tool and cut a half of the selection [ alt + drag ] .

Make a new layer and fill the selection with #ffffff [ white ] .

Change the layer opacity to 21 % .

Make a selection of "layer 5" .

Select rectangle marquee tool and cut the selection [ alt + drag ] .

Go to "layer 6" and make a new layer . Fill the selection with any color . Go to blending options -> gradient overlay and use this settings : .

Colors : #2a2d32 , #4e4f50 , #2a2d32 , #1a1a1a .

Make a new layer , draw an rectangle like this : .

Fill the rectangle with #000000 and set the layer opacity to 41 % .

Add some text : .

Make a new layer and move it under the text layer. .

Draw a new rectangle like this : .

Set foreground color to #a1c22f .

Select gradient tool with this settings : .

Drag a line : .

Fill it with white color and change the layer opacity to 38 % .

Select text tool and write your site name : .

Add some images [ i added latest tutorials ]

Group the layer like that : .

Select background layer and make new layer : .

Draw a new rectangle : .

Fill it with #eaeaea .

Add some text : .

Make a new layer , select rounded rectangle tool and draw a shape like this : .

Go to blending options and use this settings : .

Add some text [ remember this is only for presentation ] .

Now we have to make the footer .

Make a new layer , select rounded rectangular tool and draw a shape like that : .

Go to Blending options -> Gradient ovelay and use this settings : .

You can use eyedropper tool for color [ Shortcut : i ] .

Select the shape [ ctrl + click ] .

Select rectangular marquee tool and cut the selection in half [ alt + drag ] .

Make a new layer go to edit -> fill and use this color : #ffffff

Set the layer opacity to 12 % .
