Flashy, eu am lucrat 5 ani in domeniul IT pe toate distributiile UNIX based posibile..
Incepand de la slackware, ubuntu, red hat, phedora, mendrake, you name it ... -

And yes, i know shit on/about linux. -
La windows deja sunt baws.. -

BTW : Dany, Slack-ul e cea mai pulbere distributie de linux. Singurul lui avantaj e ca are interfata mai prietenoasa (noob friendly) si ca poate rula cel mai bine de pe CD, fara a necesita instalare. -
Cu toate astea, e mult mai limitat decat celelalte distributii. -

Dude, cum sa hostezi pe slackware? -))

Ala e facut sa fie o versiune portabila de linux si de aia in principal e rulata direct de pe CD... -

Ubuntu e o distributie cu oarece scopuri educationale.

Top 3 Linux OS'es for server hosting : CentOS, Gentoo si FreeBSD.

PS: Eu am folosit slackware-ul de pe CD vreo 3 ani de zile pt ca aveam numai munca de teren pt diverse diagnostice de retea si nu numai. (eram pe deranjamente si depistarea conectarilor pe naspa)

Pt diagnosticari ale retelei etc, e bun, in rest, clar nu. -
