As the Freakz admin team is doing amazing work by scripting the bosses, here is a guide tailor made for Freakz BWD.

Currently we have the following bosses available to test our metal:
- Magmaw
- Omnotron Defense System
- Maloriak
- Chimaeron


Raid Group 10 man:
2 Tanks
3 Healers
5 DPS


Raid Group 25 man:
2 Tanks
6-7 Healers
16-17 DPS


Tip:
For Normal mode you can get away with a minimum ilvl of 346, as long as raid members are skilled and know the scripts.
For HC minimum ilvl of 355 is a must. Everyone must be skilled and know the scrips.

Boss Info:

- This boss is a gigantic worm that is stationary in the room.
- Uses lava and parasites to try and defeat the raid.
- Has 2 phases: An attacking phase and a defenseless phase.
- Phase two is when he slams his head on the ground is impaled on the spike in the room.

Abilities:

- Magma Spit (wowhead link) deals 30k to 40k damage to targeted player. Targets randomly and very often.
- Lava Spew (wowhead link) deals 25k to 30k damage to each person in the raid and must be healed through.
- Mangle (wowhead link) grabs the tank in his mouth and attempt to Mangle him to death. This will continue until he pounds the ground with his head.
- When he pounds the ground with his head two players are able to jump on his head and attempt to chain him to the ground using Constricting Chains (wowhead link).
- Pillar of Flame (wowhead link) looks like a swirling puddle of lava on the ground. When this explodes, it knocks players in the air and spawns Parasites (wowhead link) that must be killed.

Strategy:

Phase 1:
Tanks stand in melee range in one corner and have the melee DPS on the opposite side. They won't have to switch throughout the fight.
Ranged DPS and healers stack up and stay stacked as much as possible throughout the encounter.
Have the ranged DPS and Heals stay in one position until the Pillar of Flame (wowhead link) comes. When this happens move to the exact location of where you were except on the other side of the spike and as soon as you get there have ALL DPS that can AoE help kill the Parasites (wowhead link). FFS please slow the adds!!
After they are dead get back on the boss and continue until Phase 2.

Phase 2:
Happens shortly after the tank is grabbed into his mouth (Big heals/CDs when tank is grabbed). When he slams his head on the ground 2 melee must jump on him and chain him to the ground. (Press 1 to use the chains and place it on the boss.) You want to use the chains ASAP to bring him down. Otherwise he will break the chains and spray the raid with magma causing a wipe.
Once he is brought down he will take 100% increased damage. Burn all CDs and take as much health down each time.
When he goes back up have the OT pick him up (Due to an armor debuff on the MT from being Mangled (wowhead link) on) and rinse and repeat.

Tips:
If you don't have VERY GOOD healers, don't even bother with this fight.
Don't get hit by the lava...you WILL wipe.
Mark one of the Healers to make it easy for the group to get into position after Pillar of Flame (wowhead link).
If you do not have enough AoE DPS, have a Frost DK in Blood presence pick up and kite the Parasites (wowhead link) to allow the Ranged DPS to down them in peace.
Be sure to give Magmaw a target to attack, otherwise he looses his mind and casts Molten Tantrum (wowhead link).


---Omnitron Defense System---

Personally this is one of my favourite fights. Everyone needs to keep focused as the Trons activate in random order throughout the fight and they are deadly.

Boss Info:

The ODS Trons share a joint health pool. They activate in random order and switch during the fight when each tron runs out of energy. Your DPS needs to stay focused on the most recently activated tron. You can tell which tron will activate next by the beam channelling to it, which is a good sign for your tank to pull the current tron to a relative position to make it easy for the DPS to switch targets.

Abilities and Strategy:

Arcanotron (arcane damage)
Power Generator (wowhead link) summons a blue circle under a random target. This increases damage by 50% of all friendly and enemy targets within 5 yards and lasts 1 minute. Drag the trons off and have DPS stand in the blue circle for a nice DPS boost.
Arcane Annihilator (wowhead link) is a simple nuke that should be interrupted.
Power Conversion (wowhead link) converts incoming damage into increased DPS. Purge or steal the spell as quick as possible.

Electron (nature damage)
Lightning Conductor (wowhead link) infects a raid member for 10 seconds, causing nature damage to nearby raid members every two seconds. If you are the target, run away from the raid group.
Electrical Discharge (wowhead link) inflicts 29k to 31k nature damage to up to three enemies within 8 yards. Damage is increased by 20% between each jump. Spread out to avoid turning this into a raid killer. If you are the target, run away from the raid group.
Unstable Shield (wowhead link) attacks against the Unstable Shield cause a Static Shock at a nearby enemy's location. Static Shock inflicts 58k to 61k nature damage to enemies. When this ability is active, STOP DPS.

Magmatron (fire damage)
Incineration Security Measure (wowhead link) inflicts 14k to 15k fire damage every 1 second for 4 seconds and has to be healed through.
Acquiring Target (wowhead link) hits a raid member with a red beam. After 4 seconds, Magmatron will begin to channel his Flamethrower (wowhead link) on the target, inflicting 34k to 35k fire damage every 1 second to all enemies in front of him for 4 seconds. Heal the target, and everyone should get away from the target. Tanks should always keep the Trons facing away from raid.
Barrier (wowhead link) absorbs 150k damage and if the barrier is broken, it releases a gale of flame inflicting 73k to 77k fire damage to all enemies. Try to Purge this off the Tron.

Toxitron (nature damage)
Chemical Bomb (wowhead link) fires a Chemical Bomb at a random target, causing a Chemical Cloud at the location. The cloud doubles damage taken. This affects the Trons as well as raid members. Get out of the cloud, and drag the boss into it.
Poison Soaked Shell (wowhead link) when dealing damage against it, will put a stacking debuff on the player increasing damage done and also placing a DoT on them that stacks and deals 5k to 7k DPS. This is not necessary to complete the fight and just adds extra stress to your healers. Just switch target.
Poison Protocol (wowhead link) creates three Oozes that will explode after coming in contact with its target or after being killed. The Oozes fixate on a single raid member and moves toward him or her, then explodes for massive damage on contact. Stun or snare the Oozes and kill them with ranged attacks.

FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS



Heroic Mode:

Nefarian will temporarily buff one of the four golems, leading to enhanced abilities.
- Arcanotron:
The Power Generator (wowhead link) will grow and eventually explode for large amounts of damage. The raid will initially stand in the power generator for buffs but will have to watch the size and move when the puddles grow.
- Electron:
The Lightning Conductor (wowhead link) will initially require the target to run out as usual. After several seconds, the debuff will transform into the Shadow Conductor (wowhead link). The target must run (or pulled by Leap of Faith) back into the raid as Shadow Conductor (wowhead link) deals more damage if the raid is spread out.
- Magmatron:
You will be immobilized in place by Flamethrower (wowhead link), however you can immune this ability during Acquiring Target (wowhead link).
- Toxitron:
Nefarian will pull the entire raid into a Chemical Bomb (wowhead link) which increases damage taken as well as dealing damage.

Be alert as to which golem is buffed by Nefarian. For example - if Electron and Arcanotron are both active, it does not necessarily mean that Electron's Lightning conductor will transform into the Shadow Conductor. If Arcanotron is buffed, Electron will cast normal Lightning Conductors as usual while the Power Converters will grow and explode.

The damage taken by the raid is intense. The damage dealt by Arcane Annihilator (wowhead link) is doubled and will most likely kill the targeted raid member if the cast is not interrupted. Exploding Oozes will kill nearby raid members as well. DPS must be extremely careful not to have PETS or minions inadvertently triggering the temporary shields on each golem (Treants from Force of Nature, Ebon Imp from Bane of Doom, Summon Gargoyle, etc). The resulting damage from a triggered shield is massive and (unlike normal-mode) generally leads to a raid wipe.

Tip:
OMF FOCUS and control your pet!!!
I am willing to bet all my gold that a noob Hunter/Warlock will wipe your raid.
Do not let a DK tank Electron his Blood Worms (wowhead link) will wipe the raid.


---Maloriak---

Boss Info:

This boss has two main phases. The first phase has three different vials (Red, Blue & Green) to which you must respond. Throughout the fight, Maloriak spawns adds called Aberrations in the back of the room. There are 18 small adds and two large ones. The large ones release during the final phase. Do not interrupt Maloriak's attempt to release Aberrations because in phase 2 the boss will release all remaining adds and will make the phase very difficult to survive.

Abilities & Strategy:

Arcane Storm (wowhead link) deals damage to the whole raid. Have a designated interrupter for this.
Maloriak will cast Release Aberrations (wowhead link) periodically. You need to have 9 aberrations for each green phase, so interrupt accordingly.
Both of these abilities can be slowed by Slow, Curse of Tongues, etc...
Remedy (wowhead link) will heal Maloriak. This needs to be dispelled or spell stolen.

Phase 1:
Red Vial - Everyone in the raid needs to stack up due to Scorching Blast (wowhead link) which deals damage to everyone in a frontal cone. The damage is split amongst everyone in it. Along with this he will cast Consuming Flames (wowhead link). This can be healed through with decent healers but if heals are not enough raid members need to move away from the blast zone of his breath and then stack again after the the attack.
Blue Vial - Raid members need to spread out due to Flash Freeze (wowhead link) that traps players in ice pillars. It has 5k health and makes players unable to anything so ranged DPS should kill it fast.
Green Vial - Everything in the room (Adds, Boss and Raiders) gets Debilitating Slime (wowhead link) debuff which gets rid of any Growth Catalysts and causes a 100% damage taken increase. AoE the adds and return to boss. Maloriak will jump to the spawn point of the Aberrations. Main tank should return him to the position where fight started.

Phase 2:
Starts when Maloriak has 25% health and he will gain 3 new abilities.
Maloriak will release all of his remaining minions (wowhead link). The two large ones need to be tanked by the off tank and do not need to be killed.
Periodically Magma Jets (wowhead link) will be cast on the main tank. He will face the target beforehand and this can be strafed out of. It also knock the target into the air, causing fall damage.
During this phase the main tank shoud kite Maloriak along the walls to keep the fire trail away from raid members.
Biting Chill (wowhead link) is an orb summoned above the target and slowly drops to the ground, exploding on impact or contact. Contact with thse will know raid members into flames.
Acid Nova (wowhead link) will hit the whole raid and do AoE damage. This must simply just be healed through.

Tip:
Phase one will last for 2 cycles of all 3 vials so do as much damage to Maloriak as possible before phase 2.
Main Tank should keep Maloriak where he starts and return him there during every Green Vial phase.
Off Tank should pick up Abberations FAST and keep them in the center of the room to make t easy for the DPS to swop targets.
And FFS please slow the adds during Green Vial phase!!
All three phase 2 abilities are raid wipers so FOCUS!


---CHIMAERON---

Boss Info:

Basically a tank & spank fight.

Abilities & Strategy:

Phase 1:
Chimaeron attacks his current target with Break (wowhead link) and Double Attack (wowhead link), while continually spraying Caustic Slime (wowhead link) at the raid. He periodically casts Massacre (wowhead link) on the raid and his heads sometimes Feud (wowhead link) following a Massacre (wowhead link).

Everyone stacks on Tanks at the bottom of the stairs at entrance.
Tanks should swop aggro when one tank has two stacks Break (wowhead link).
Healers only need to keep raid's health above 10k but keep both Tanks at full health.

Phase 2:
At 21% health Chimaeron goes into a rage. This renders him immune to Taunt effects and decreases raid healing done by 99%.
Be sure to have everyone's HP full when you enter phase 2.
Now its a DPS race.

Tip:
If you can't down him you SUCK!
