Modern portofolio layout [English]

Today we will learn how to make a simple layout !!

Here is my result :



Make a new Document 800 x 600 px
Create a new layer go to edit -> fill and use this color : #2d343a
Create a new layer again and selecte rectangular marquee tool , draw a rectangle like this :



Fill it with any color you want , go to blending options -> gradient overlay :



Download gradient !!

The result :



Now we have to make a new pattern.
Go to file -> new and use this settings :



Select pencil tool and zoom the file to 1600 %
Set the foreground to #ffffff
Draw 4 point like this [ 4 pixels ]



Go to edit -> define pattern then close the document.
Go back to layout document make a new layer , select rectangular tool with this settings :



Now you just have to click [ 1 click , no drag ]



Go to edit -> fill , select pattern and hit OK.
Duplicate this layer and move it a little bit down :



Set the duplicated layer opacity to 37 %
Create a new layer and draw a new rectangle like this :



Fill it with white color [ #ffffff ]
Set the layer opacity to 5 %



Make a new layer , select rectangular tool with this settings :



Draw a new rectangle like this :



Fill it with white color [ #ffffff ] and change the layer opacity to 11 %



Create a new layer , select rectangular marquee tool draw a new rectangle like this :



Fill the selection with any color you want , then go to blending options and use this settings :

Go to blending options and use this settings :

Fill it whit any color you want the go to blending options :

Add your text :



Add your text buttons :



Add the header logo :



Create a new layer and draw a rectangle like this :



Select gradient tool , set the foreground color to #ffffff and use this settings :



Drag from top to bottom , then set the layer opaciti to 12 %
The result :



Add some of your work :



Add the categories :



Now for the footer we have to make a new layer and select rectangular marquee tool .
Draw a new rectangle like this :



Fill it with any color you want then go to blending options -> gradient overlay :

Hit ok and let`s continue.
Make a new layer and draw a rectangle like that :



Go to fill , select this color #80ab23.
Now duplicate this layer move it a litle bit to the right , go to blending options -> color and use this #008bb8
Duplicate it again move it to the right , blending options -> color and use this color #ed7600



Add your footer links and the copyright and you are done !!
