So i get profanity thrown at me and i get muted for saying "retard". Interesting,maybe that's what the filter is there for in the first place? Also i don't understand why this is an issue,since you don't just run straight into the police department after someone calls you stupid. Kelder's the one at fault and i'm glad that he's muted,but why me as well? Maybe i should smile and ask him to join me for tea?

Is someone pissing you off?
Maybe raging at you for killing a mob he want to kill?
Or cursing you for ganking his low level alt?
Or just acting retarded because you left his guild?

Then FEAR NOT! Blizzard will Soon™ add nifty "Ignore" option. With that feature, you'll be able to block all those kids who only use "mother, ***, retard, idiot etc." words so they don't ruin your day.
All you have to do is wait for it since it will be implemented Soon™!

What strikes me as odd is that i'm only allowed to use the ignore button like a pansy,while in other games(with an ignore button too ofc) you're allowed to return the favor. There's also another thing,if one of the GMs is playing without their flag and gets profanity thrown at them,that person will probably get an instant ban. Do that to a casual player though and we're looking at a 24h mute,maybe a bit longer. There's only a miniscule difference between the two,but who am i to judge People forget that we all have the same rights and elevate some over others because of reasons(silly reasons too).

Ignore is there with a reason, and there's no shame using it. I had to download "Ignore More" addon because i filled up my ignore list. I think i have somewhere around 120 people in my ignore list.
So, if someone's pissing you off, just /ignore him and continue enjoying your life.

About other thing... You can't go outside and tell a cop to "go and f*ck himself". I mean, you could, but you would probably end up in jail with nothing to eat but "cock-meat sandwiches".
Same is here, GM's are like police and you should respect them. If you don't, they'll ban your *** and continue with their life. It's simple like that.

There are plenty of WoW Private servers, you can find some suitable for you any time.

I actually respect the staff members,because first off this is a free server,second they're the ones that do all the work. However,when someone acts outside the norm of human-human communication i have to note that.

And gj on ignoring so many people,you'll eventually be playing by yourself if you keep it up,by muting everyone for even the slightest reason.

Policemen are another thing too,since in Britain you can do quite a lot to them,if it's withing the law(example: spitting on them). I'm just saying that dropping a nuclear warhead on someone for littering(figuratively speaking) is considered overkill in most cases.

I'm not whining about my mute,that's fine with me,i'm complaining about going over the top,even if slightly,since it was a reply to provocation. My guildmate Baldrux provided 2 of multiple screenshots of pure awesomeness and we're talking duel spams every 2 seconds. That deserves a mute. Mine deserves a simple warning let's say,that would be enough for me.

Two wrongs don't make one right. The fact that someone else attacked/trolled/insulted you first, doesn't give you the right to act the same way.
