First of all, you need to know are your addons for current, 4.0.6 patch, if you're not sure and you just clicked on "Download Now" button on Curse then they aren't. To fix that, go to Curse.com, search for addon you want, and open it. After you get to it's page, click on "Other Downloads" just under "About Addon Name" and under "Game Version" search for 4.0.6. If there's no 4.0.6 version, try with 4.0.3 or 4.1 and hope it will work.

(PS: I don't know your knowledge about addons so i'll assume you put them in your /World Of Warcraft/Interface/AddOns folder?"

Second thing you need to do is mark "Load out of date AddOns" under AddOns option when you log in into your account. You can find this option on top right corner of your AddOns list.


Now after you done all that, enter on your char and press Esc button on your keyboard, select Interface and click on "Addons" tab on top of that window and configure addon as you wish.
