upgrading from 2.4.3 to this? how?

So I have been playing on a private server for 2.4.3 tbc but the pop seems pretty low. I would like to check this server out but i dont have cata. what steps do i need to take? im assuming i would need to get more than just the 4.0.6 download that is on the site but i am not sure. thanks for the help

What he said. Be careful that in the near future the server will be upgraded to 4.3 so you know what is the problem if you wake up in a day and can't log in

Yes download it. The 4.3 will come , in my opinion in ~ 1 week and a half.

Enough time for you to get familiarized with the atmosphere on the server.

and just to compare the pop of this server to the other server i have been playing on. how many players are on a /who usually?

You can see here in real-time http://www.wow.freakz.ro/ how many players are Online. It's shown at the top of the page below the name of the servers . GENESIS/EXODUS/PTR(4.3)

There are 2 realms: Genesis - wich is a romanian realm, meaning the population is mostly romanian, and Exodus, wich is meant for foreign people, on genesis, there are around 1500 players, and exodus around 1000, + - 300 .
