I'm well aware of it! Just wish I had known before I started obtaining it to purchase gear... lol. Might have stockpiled it in different forms then.

Ah. Wasn't aware of that, just started playing on this server.. a week back, I think? Items won't be wiped right? For example, stuff in the bank?

ONLY gold from your characters, banks and mails will be deleted and Valor, Justice, Honor and Conquest points will be converted to gold in 1:1 ratio after that. You don't have to worry about items, they won't be deleted, because that would make no sense at all.
Also, Most of the 'important' rates will be lowered, like the honor and XP ones.
