Fire Prism

So, On my jewelcrafting character I tried to make Fire Prism. Its this fing that gives you random mats for later jwc use and it has a cooldown.
This time it didnt give me anything. It was empty. That never happend to me before. Is that possible? Was I just unlucky or is it a bug? Should I continue to make them?
