Honor rates

Hello, I am an Exodus player who goes by the name of Socks/Shoes. I am here today because I wish to express my discomfort with the new honor rates.
The initial site information informed us of rates being changed to 2x, but right now they seem to be the same as they are on Blizzard realms. From what I know this might be a bug and I sincerely hope so. The question I would like answered is why any change was done regarding the rates. They were fully customizable and concluding by the fact that the topic of world chat on Exodus is people complaining about low honor rates about 70% of the time it was mostly certainly not done by popular request.

The only other reason I could think of that made you guys decide to lower the rates is to increase the amount of PvP gear people buy from the mall. I really do hope I'm mistaken as I always saw this server as one of the best, not only by the amount of bugs it had, but also by how the staff always seemed to listen to the issues the players have with the game and attempted to resolve them as quickly as possible instead of what most servers like Molten do (if you find me mentioning Molten advertisement please delete this section of the post) where they don't give a rat's *** and just milk players for cash.

If the lowered rates are the beginning of turning Exodus into a low rate Blizz-like realm, could you please not do it until the arena tournament realm you announced to be taking Evolution's place is open so that people who are stuck on Exodus can go to that realm and have fun there instead, because , honestly, grinding BGs for hours and days on end to get decent gear is a very dull process. Forty minute games in order to gain 40 or 100 honor, depending on whether you lost or won the game, are far from any definition of fun I go by.

I felt the old 4.0.6 Exodus rates were just fine as most serious PvPers find battlegrounds to be a tedious "job" you have to do before you start having fun in arenas anyway. If you think those rates were way over the top could you please increase the honor rates to at least 2x?

It was reduced to 1x because the honor gain from kills/assists,flag/base captures has been fixed.

honor rates sucks . u get 3 times less honor than retail , and ofc not all bgs are opened, and not all bgs work properly.. i suggest to make honor like 3x

I'm quite certain this does not work as one game this morning (It was WSG if I remember correctly) I had 16 KBs and we lost and the difference in honor between the start of the match and now was only the 40 you get for a lost RBG.

Well , i guess your complaining about the honor rates won't make any difference. When the staff decides something , you can hardly change their mind.


Anyway this problem was discussed in another topic like 1 month ago or so , and we got our topic closed , cuz someone answered and said that there is a bug with the honor rates atm , doubling the rates will make us gain like 600 honor/won bg (That won't be nice wouldn't it ? Since this server tries to be as much as possible blizz-like ) .


So yeah , anyway don't mind my oppinion , you can also wait for a GM to answer you propely , maybe i'm wrong.

I'm not complaining I'm just wondering why they were lowered and suggesting they be brought up again. Also, unless there is a difference between Exodus and Genesis, you'd actually get 300 per win if the rates were to be doubled.
