And i personally found 25-mans a lot easier than 10-mans, in the past we half pugged bwd + bot 25-heroic raids and i was facepalming a lot with guildies on raidcall, at how bad some people were, but we still cleared them (without AC). In 10-mans 1 mistake, it could be anything up from a DC to lag or falling from your chair, can ruin your try and wipe the raid. But thats just my opinion.
Someone was also implying that being in a "top" guild means not having fun at the game? I have no clue in what "top" guild you were in then...but for me such a guild isn't in my "top" guild scala. There is no guild where you have 100% fun, 100% of the time...you will always have some bad day, lots of wipes or what not. But completely not having fun isn't true, but that's also just my opinion.

If you are looking for a "top" pve guild you will have to wait till some content gets released and then see what guilds are active in the field. Right now there is just a "warmup" phase and you can't really tell what guild is good, or good for you depending on your expectations.

EDIT: To add some guildnames, on the horde side there was hey im pve and on the alliance side, as mentioned above, the cold knights or forsaken knights...but i have no clue about the alliance ones, never saw them anywhere except here on the forums.

and i would like to add that you ppl are wrong at the very first place, you are comparing Retail to some Pserver...25m runs are piece of cakes here, u can do most of bosses with 1/3 dead peeps...and yes, 'Converging' 25 ppl is hard ofc But not where they mostly need to smash some buttons.
and you cant find any really 'serious' pve guild here...at least we, in Hey im pve aint that serious, but if you expect to 'Not' do something that is 'lets say your duty' as a member of the guild, trying to find some excuses like 'fun' and being disrespectful to your guildies and the goal they got, the guild got...yes u off better find some average social guild.

Your reputation will increase after you'll enter in a guild and showing your knowledge about your class and scripts . Worked for me both on blizz and freakz .
But as Vinc said , depends on what/how much you're expecting from a PvE guild

Coordinate 25 brains is harder than 10 . But , in my opinion 10-man is harder. Compared to 25-man , its not such a big loss if in your raid, 5 dies on 25-man, compared to 2 dying in 10-man. But depends on raiders , if you have 25 good raiders , ofc it's easier . And not to mention lack of buffs on 10man .
