[FIXED] [Rogue][PvE][PvP] Combat Talent - Precision

Descrierea bugului / Bug description: Actually precision it's not working 100%. Groovy moved it to confirmed only for the fact that it doesen't show in the character panel but precision doesen't increase the poison's hit chance at all.
Dovada / Proof: On my rogue at the moment i wanted to cap the spell hit for the poisons to always hit. Spell hit cap on bosses is 17%. Precision increases the chance by 6% so i had to build up 11% hit chance. Here's what i found out.



On my hit rating + precision talent i shall never miss with a poison attack but as the screenshot shows i miss a raw of 7%. Probably not accurate i shall miss something like 5.5% on my hit rating but didn't have the patience to keep hitting that dummy.

Well, the guy is perfectly right. Although untill now I was never interested in the Poison hit cap because of the gear, I did some of my own tests today. Here is what I found:

1. Although I have the talent the char sheet doesn't show it at all (probably already known).





2. I currently have ~11% Spell Hit, which means that I have a miss chance of 6.51, which is very accurate at a boss fight as you can see:






So, in conclusion the guy who started this thread is right, this talent doesn't work at all and this topic should be moved to confirmed.

I believe that this is something general with the hit cap required in order to not miss any spells on a level 88 boss level NPC, maybe just for the melee classes which use the spell hit cap in someway (Rogue/DK/Paladin), because it is happening for DKs and Paladins also.

Can a caster class player tell me if they miss while being hit capped on bosses ?

I have 17.83% hit on my Shadow Priest and don't miss any spell. I don't think it's related to the boss because I once did my poison cap on the rogue and I did not miss once with IP or DP, it's just the talent that's bugged.

Oke aici ai 2 printuri de pe priestul meu shadow, dupa cum observi am 17,87%, 0% Miss Chance pe boss, am dat ~ 1.200.000 @ Dummy cu nici un Miss pe Mind Flay sau orice alt spell, insa iti pot spune din DS ca nu am dat nici un miss. Printuri aici:





Dupa eforturi ( reforge, mancare cu hit, elixir) am reusit sa fac 17% hit pe rogue si nu am mai dat nici un miss cu poisons.







In concluzie, singura chestie care nu merge Rastere e talentul cu totul, nu ne da 6% hit cum ar trebui si nici nu o arata in char sheet, faza care e oke din moment ce suntem obligati sa jucam fara 6% hit, care inseamna dps loss, reforge-uri aiurea, etc.

There's nothing about the spell hit caps, it's all about the fact that this talent has an "aura" that increases your melee hit chance but lacks an "aura" to increase spell hit chance by 6%. That's all folks!

Stop talking bull,effect 2 has Mod Spell Hit Chance %.

Probably the hardcap for lvl 88 is wrong

That's what I was thinking and that's why I asked if caster classes (who naturally must hit cap) got any problems with it, but it seems they don't.

And, since casters do not have any problems that means that this talent is bugged all toghter since I have clearly proven that when I have 17% Hit I do not get any misses with Poisons then the talent is bugged.
