I think this is a really underrated ability. While it's not something you can use all the time, and it definitely doesn't make hunters a stealth class, you can still use it to get a unique advantage over other players. Plus it means you don't have to go night elf to be invisible, which is sweet, because night elves suck.

Casting Aimed Shot doesn't break camo.

Yeah, that means you can get off an aimed, use rapid fire, and start charging up your next one, all from stealth.

Edit2: As of 4.1, stealthers can use their openers on you while camo'd. I'm disappointed with the change. That was one of the things that made Camo unique.]

Ye right. Its very curious that lots of people that defend the camo bug are suddenly playing rogues and have no problems against hunters. Please do tell how do you break camo without losing your opener?

Currently hunters have all their key abilities with a positive bug on them wich makes it imposible for a rogue to have a chance(it's not like huters are a counter class to rogues but still). First of all we have the camo bug; you are forced to open with a FoK and get instantly scattered+freeze trap. next we have the bugged traps wich often dissapera of the ground and can't be disarmed. then there is the detterence bug. when you finally close the gap between you and the hunter and you can pump some damage in he deterrence and dodges/parrys all my skills from behind.. wich he shouldn't.

So stop being an ignorant son of a bitch and talk when you have something helpful to say or stfu.

i now get what you were saying and again you were talking without knowing what it was about. I did not make the statement you quoted on. that part about camo in english, was from the comment section, in the wowhead spell link,from a hunte who specified all we need to know about camo, and i just coppy/pasted that si everybody can stop theorycrafting on the matter.

Yodanny where in deterence tooltip does it says that the hunter takes dmg from behind. That was a few patches ago. It provides 100% miss chance. Only chaos bolt goes through deterence.

About Deterrence... 1st it was giving 100% parry chance to all attacks coming from the front (I guess it was 1st made like that cuz u know parrieng from behind is not usualy possible)
Then it was buffed to cause u to parry even attacks coming from behind. Yet ofc there was those spells witch were immune to parry like Overpower.
Cuz of that it got buffed again giving u a 100% for melee attacks to miss U so that even those abilities like Overpower can now be prevented by Deterrence.

I see a topic where all the "proofs" given are from a date prior to 2011-02-08 when the change to deterrence was added.
(Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Now provides 100% chance for melee attacks to miss instead of 100% parry chance. This means that attacks that cannot be parried, notably some rogue abilities, can now be prevented by Deterrence, and the hunter will gain the benefit of Deterrence even if disarmed.)
All that topic, u linked, is bases on is a single video where a hunter gets backstabed in Deterrence witch could simply be a bug. I mean it's just not a legit proof and I mean in anyway.
I am extremly surprised that this topic is even in 'confirmed'......
And ye, end off topic...
Ontopic - Stealth openers should be able to hit true camo since they are considered melee attacks as well.
