Gearing up problems

A friend of mine just came to freakz after quitting retail and leveled to 85 and then asked me how the f am i supposed to gear up now?
I didnt really have a problem since i play here since 4.0.6
But how are new guys/alts supposed to gear up?
One dungeon and 2 BH boss works and bugged-*** BWD
Devs say they want to fix DS but what about gearing up for it?
Its like building a skyskraper without stairs or elevator!

So it is my request to devs to fix dungeons and dungeon finder after u launch the second boss pls!

There are still some bugs in bwd, green phase of malo for instance, no magmaw. Bwd alone for gear alone is not enough. Need more dungs!!
Normally it was always leveling greens> rep gear> n dungeons > hc dung> raids

You can begin buying the craftable set of your class (the vicious ilvl 377 blue gear) so you can start from there (you need 2-3k golds to buy it). Then you can farm ET (you don't need to do a lot of dps so the dps you do with the vicious ilvl 377 set is ok) and take all of the item 378 you need and with the justice points you earned doing these runs in ET, you can buy other 378 items. Then you can take the belt 397 from the trashes of DS and maybe if you need, a weapon from these trashes like the off-hand or the main hand sword. Then if you need to compensate some low items, you can do a few arenas and bgs to take some piece of ruthless and cataclysm (that is always better then 377 vicious set).
It isn't so hard.

You are missing the point of the post..
It is in regards to to gearing up for the upcoming bosses for DS which the devs are so keen on releasing.
Someone who wants to pve!
ET might provide you 2 items justice might give you 4 items. Currently there is one pve trinket available to casters.
Crafted vicious gear might be the entry level items in pvp but dungeon gear is the entry gear for raids. If u think u can do well with pvp caster cfrafted gear in pve then you are sorely mistaken
And dont even say buy valor gear because as a new comer to server point of view it takes 2 weeks atleast to get one item.

You might end up wit 8/8 scripting and people new to server will be scratching their head about how to gear up.

Tldr; if you want to release DS bosses you need to release dungeons first

Crafted vicious gear to do dungeons and to farm rep at firelands to get item 378+ so you have dungeon equip for raids.

yeah, it is actually difficult to gear up atm, my hunter is stuck with 346 head and shoulders because imo pvp gear has no place in PvE, so i refuse to wear ruthless gear in pve.

you can start off by getting all the rep gear, BoE epics and the epics from Molten Front, after that farming ET is pretty much the only thing you can do :/ as long as you know how to play your class you should be able to pull some decent dps

i agree, scripting DS before releasing content that allows people to gear up for DS is a bad idea

The problem about gearing up is not for me. I already have a 389 ilvl priest and 385 ilvl dk full pve!
It is as i mentioned in original post a problem towards newcomers to the serv.
Like my friend from retail who made a new char and then said oh lol nothing works... Not even the basic stuff.. Whats the point.

releasing dungeons is waste of time,since u can buy a lot of gear for gold/jp/honor.honestly any further scripting of4.3 dungeons would be a waste of time.maybe raising justice drop per boss in et will be better idea.

actually, getting a fully working End time, Hour of Twilight and Well of Eternity would be beneficial, that way we'd have pre-raid gear available to pretty much every slot

u can already get better gear for half of the slots,scripting 3 full dungeons would take months which server doesnt have.by the time dungeons are scripted eveyone will have full valor gear just by capping valor weekly cap

other option is converting honor pts to justice for some starting gear
