The talent works fine,you DO get the focus when the pet crits just that its not shown on combat text/combat log,much like how rapid recuperation wasn't showing any focus gain while it was giving focus back in 4.0.

Well I couldn't find anything about if the focus gain should even be displayed anywhere so we can't tell if that part is a bug or not.
