what system requirements is good enough to play wowfreakz on high quality

I am asking this question due to 3 points,
1. my old laptop crapped out on me and I haven't had one in over 4months
2.I been playin on my friends pc, and I need a good game/none game laptop for school/job hunting
3. I want to start playing again :/

if anyone knows, I'd greatly appreciate the information. I am on a budget

Well, something like a 1GB video card with an i3 or an AMD Phenom II X4/X6 with 4GB RAM memory and a HDD sized just for your needs should do the job.

Why high quality? Low quality is quite enough to play, there isn't that big of a difference if you're here just to play the game. If you want a nice and pretty game, then WoW isn't for you.

No one plays wow for the graphics but why not having Shadows and Anti Aliasing on max if u can?

my old system I was playing on, was a pos and I was playing on low setting with lag due to graphic issues. I want to play with decent settings on, thus the reason why I created this thread.

I play on the lowest settings possible and don't have any unusual lag whatsoever. Only time when I lag is when the whole server lags.

i think he is talking about his framerate FPS when they drop you lag like hell that's what was happening to me till i got a new video card

Exactly, my old system had a family intergrated graphics card built in. for instance when I did tank on my dk/which I will again. it made it nearly impossible or with lag from rbg's when there was a mass of spell casters going off at once.

Find a program called Game Booster 3 (that's the version i have) it should improve your BG fps. Before I got it, my fps would drop below 0 in BGs back on 4.0.6, and after I got it, it never went down there. And I think the raid group you are in when you are in a BG is causing the fps problems too. There is some kind of problem there, but I can't figure out what it is, and the bad part is, I'm not alone. Alot of people have those raid fps problems.

I tryed to play with Game Booster 3, but this program is not improving so much the quality of the gameplay.

For me, it's not improving the gameplay, it's just preventing my client to drop the fps below 1. I still do experience 1 fps in 25 man raids and absolute game freeze in Alterac Valley (1 frame every 3 minutes) due to my bad PC.
