question about ferals

should ferals get rid of slow effects just by shifting forms ?
i know thats the way it was in wotlk, is it still same ?

From slow effects, yes, they can shift forms and they get rid of it, but not from root effects, root effects can be removed only if you're Restoration (there is a passive called Disentanglement (don't kill me if I spelled this wrong)).
