if you would have heeded my call to check the online dictionary for which i have put up the respective hyperlink you would've seen that to attend is a verb that when used without an object does not need the adverb "to", but when used with an object the adverb "to" is requisite. now, if you still don't believe me and your english teacher confirms that what you have been taught is correct, i suggest you either both attend english classes or go kill yourselves, either way, i win.
