exactly , still shadow part has to double dip because on simulcraft you see SS shadow max is over ss phys , and right now this is NOT true here

I'm playing dk and I'm not complaing as you that dk was nerfed,he doesn't make damage.With this random crit we are still having a good dps and ss shadow does more damage than ss physical even if rage of rivendare doesn't affect ss shadow two times.You are showing simulationcraft,where ss shadow has 38k and ss physical has 34k.Go to dummy on freakz and hit it with scourge strikes,3 diseases on the target at 15 mastery and you will see the difference between the 2 components of scourge strike.

1. Random crit is a bug, gonna get fixed eventually
2.dps is nice but in pvp we don't have 30 crit auras that make that random crit go on much more often ( gonna laugh too when they fix the auras stacking)
3. Unjustified nerf is Unjustified , we have brought enough proof that RoR was FINE before

Im not complaining about the dps im complaining because freakz staff nerfed the wrong talent and like kabuto said in PVP that is 1 big nerf.

Ofc it's not supposed to double dip. If you look here at this fight which was on 25.07.2012 (no mop) this dk had an average of 29853.3 crit physical scourge strike and an average of 20572.7 shadow scourge strike. So stop the bullshit.

FYI , ss shadow CANT crit , it will double it's damage if the phys part crit but it won't show as a crit or a big yellow number

now look at the avg for MELEE SS

14952.6

Now the avg for SHADOW

20572.7



Are you realizing that , even if you sum up 702771 + 298533 , which is the total damage done by ss melee , it's still inferior to the damage done in total by ss shadow?

1001304 ( melee total ) < 1172643 ( shadow total)


What does this mean?

You have just brought another proof that it should double dip , gratz man -

in 57 SS he got 10 crits

SS shadow part can't crit , only double it's damage , so it doesn't have a "Crit" part on that log

if it did , the avg ss shadow "Crit" would be much higher , but since he didn't , we can only look at the average which is 20k which is good counting that only 10 were crits

Again , can you COMPARE PHYS SS TOTAL VS SHADOW SS TOTAL ?

1001304 ( melee total ) < 1172643 ( shadow total)

JUST DO THE FRIGGIN CALC , SS SHADOW DAMAGE WAS HIGHER THAN SS MELEE DAMAGE , ERGO , SS SHADOW SHOULD DO MORE DAMAGE THAN SS MELEE ( thanks to DOUBLE DIPPING) , ERGO , FIX INVALID

was working correctly before ( sans the crit part)... they need to undo the "Fix" , I don't know why pirinush is not in a hurry to check this thread proof's and confirm it/ talk to shocker like they did with the first topic ...
