Same goes for other pet abilities...lets say i want to use the blind ability from the monkey and i'm not in LOS with the monkey...it won't cast it. Just as an example.

I'm not sure if it should give a "Your target is not in line of sight" error or not but I'm definitely sure it shouldn't waste the cooldown while doing nothing

Just as a referance though while the spells may not be related, the problem seems to be the same :

Here this guy says : "Master's Call will bug out, take the cooldown but not apply the effect if: you are in line of sight of your target but your pet isn't, or if your pet is in line of sight of your target but you aren't. This should be just like every other pet spell in the game and just come from the pet's line of sight. "

Another one mentions : "Another thing about master's call which everyone probably knew, is that if you use it when your pet is out of line of sight, it will blow the CD but do no effect... this was b4 patch too but didn't get fixed. "
