1h Weapons Price

I don't see the logic behind 1h weapons and 2h weapons in the Donation Shop having the same price. It would be logical that 2 One-Handed weapons would cost same as 1 Two-Handed Weapon. Any chance this could happen Shockeru?

Well, at the current state and the way we thought about it, we would multiply two-handed weapons cost by 2, not reduce the one-handed's by 2

That would not be a economically sane move to do. Your servers population being mostly Eastern European based, that would mean a price of one item would be even 1/5th of someones paycheck by average paychecks in some countries. This would in turn lower the number of donations so even you would get more money per donation you would get a lot less donations then before probably. Anyway, my point wasn't to lower the price of One-Handed weapons, just to make it half the price of Two-Handed weapons (even tho i meant it in that way).

So anyway, let me reformulate:

Make the price of 1h weapons, shields and off-hands half the price of 2h weapons. Do with the price what ever you think is appropriate and will benefit you the most.

nvm, I thought you are saying about Vote Shop. I have no power @ Donations. .

And also, as you can see from PVP, 2H weapons are indeed more expensive than the one handers (even tho it is not double)
At the moment, one Deathwing item is $36.4, whatever it is. Making the one-handers half the price would make them $18.2, which is even less than a Firelands HC item.

That does not make any sense at all.

Also, making the two-handers twice as expensive as they are now would make no sense. So for now, there won't be any price modifications.

I would say Donating for a one hander at the moment does not make sense, since its easier to just make a DK/Paladin and donate for Gurht. Thats why the server is full of DKs. I'm betting most of the donations come from that weapon. If the price of 1h was lower then of the 2h you would probably get more donations and more class variety of donors.
I can't say that i like the idea of Donation Shop for ingame items, but if its already there it should be fulfilling its purpose, and that is to make more money, for server upkeep or where ever its going in, i don't want to discuss that anyway and i don't really care. I'm hoping its going into development and paying the servers bills.

The price does not have to be half the price, but maybe getting the price of 2h to lets say 40$ and 1h to 20$ or 25$ would be better then keeping it both at the same price.

i support mofu because if some1 is DW class they need to spend 80$ on they're weapons while a class with 2H spends only 40$.. so wouldn't it make more sence to make 1H weps cost 20 $ cause ppl will buy 2x of them and u will get the same amount of money ( or atleast make it for the strenght and agy 1H cause no1 will DW int 1H ).. and there is probably a higher chance of getting donations that way because some1 maybe wants to donate for 2x 1H but when he see the price he/she wont pay for it ( or make it like : if u are buying 2x 1H u get 50% off.. )

i dont support him because i dont recall of any boss droping 1h weapons x2 so its harder to obitain weapons fos DW aswell.

The concept behind prices is the difficulty of obtaining the items. PvE drops are the same for 1h and 2h items.
