Mind flay is able to gain more ticks or not?

Asking that because i don't know well retail mechanics and i can't check it by yourself without retail account so i hope some of you know that
For example: this videoguide ( https://youtube.com/watch?v=p6n-Q66L90Y:

) says at start "One fully mind flay and then 2 ticks of another. (this gets you 5 stacks of dark evangelism)"
So that means your gets 3 ticks per 1 fully mind flay

#3 and #4 posts says exactly the same(They have no proof but i trust them because they are playing on retail)

If thats true mind flay is not able to gain more ticks then i should make a bug report because there mind flay is able to gain more ticks than 3

Yes, currently channeling spells act with haste the same way dots do - Same duration, but the gap between ticks is reduced.

We won't change this anytime soon, the haste system is one of the most complicated mechanisms at the moment
