Despite what the decription says it should work with embersilk clothes after reaching 400 skill points in tailoring. It works that way on official servers.

It's just a myth with the embersilk clothes, I don't think this is a bug.

Well if you can find some proof that supports this claim they will fix it im sure, but without some kind of proof nothing will be done.

Edit: Ok the OP seems to be correct here (wowhead link) you will find proof.
