Hi Power Friends.
I'm currently in the middle of doing my thesis which is about the Recruitment and Training Policies of the Central Bank.

While this is obviously about the Central Bank in my country, I am also interested in the policies of CBs in other nations.

The focal point would be with regards to Civil Service (which is a gov't branch/agency helping to regulate the public administration system).

For example - in my country - if you work for the government but have not passed the Civil Service examination, you're basically stuck in the same "contractual" position until you pass it.
As a contractual employee, you gain minimal to no benefits associated with gov't service upon retirement (ie. Social Security).

Ie. I work for the Presidential Palace and did a Management Audit of our employees last year.
The audit showed several employees who have been in the same contractual position (minimum salary grade) for the past 20-30 years; not valid for promotion because they have not passed the CS exam.

So far, I've researched on CB/CS systems of the USA, UK, and other countries.
Since there are players here from around the world I'm interested in hearing from them.
In fact one of my guildmates (from India) told me of how their system is completely the opposite of ours - so I'll research a bit more on it.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Anyway, if you'd like to share and help me with the thesis
- if you are working (or know a lot about) the Central Bank in your country
- if you are familiar with your country's Civil Service/Public Administration system
----You could reply here, or send me a PM - and I will further research on it and add it to my thesis as well.
Thanks
~James
