Dai click dreapta pe pictograma "cstrike.exe" si selecteaza proprietati, apoi selecteaza compatibilitatea si schimba-l in "WinXP".

sau

In parametrii de lansare pune linia -autoconfig -32bit -sw -noipx -d3d - asta va reseta rezolutia inapoi la normal si problema erorii 5899 din Counter-Strike.

sau

Poti sterge fisierul "config.cfg" aflat în folderul cstrike, iar atunci cand rulezi "hl.exe" sa te asiguri ca ai selectat "openGL" sau "D3D" si aplica setarile.

sau

Du-te in bara de start si selecteazã run iar acolo tasteaza "regedit" (fara ghilimele), iar apoi du-te la "HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Valve" si stergi "Valve".
