@barrages you are very right. There are too many barrages!! And having 4 barrages at the same time within the first round of drakes makes it nearly impossible to make it through the first phase. It would be something if the bug was occurring because of the remaining number of drakes (6 out of 6) but it's not, because even if you have only one remaining to down on the last round of drakes it still spawns more than one barrage at once.
25 man heroic is way easier than 10 man heroic. That is something to really think about. And is easier just because you have more people to soak the same number of barrages and if you take in consideration that the debuff is 15s on 10mhc and 6s on 25mhc than the fight on 10mhc is very challenging.


A big problem for soaking these barrages is the "cast time". The time between the moment the swirl appears on the boat and when the barrage explodes is not constant, sometimes it's not more than 1.5 sec, sometimes is about 7 seconds. This is a bug, it doesn't work as intended. The bug comes from the travel distance of the barrage from the drake to the swirl on the boat. If the drake is harpooned and the swirl is spawned close to him than the traveling time is very small, therefore the time from the spawn of the swirl to when it deals damage is very small, not more than 2 seconds. If the drake is flying around and the swirl spawns on the other side of the boat you have about 7-8 seconds.

There's just one more bug with these little swirls of neverendingwipes. They sometime spawn under the onslaught or on the fire zones. The ones in the fire let's say that they are ok because i found no proof that it shouldn't happen. But when an barrage spawns with a shared range or just beneath the onslaught than there's your wipe. Because it's usually the barrage that is the first that explodes and puts the debuff on the entire raid, making the onslaught barely survivable. Even with the PW:Barrier or AMZ or other raid cds, the try is surely an wipe before phase 2 because the next barrages that appear will not be soaked by anyone because the whole raid is low HP and having the debuff. I've never seen this happening in the first round of drakes, mostly it happened on the second and third round.

@sapper the bugs are straight forward:
1. the casting (spawning) moment of the last one is every time after about 10 seconds in the phase 2 (depending on how fast you clear the adds and drakes), without checking if you are or not in the phase 2. It currently works like it is a spell with a 40s cast time that starts casting at the end of the previous one. The checking if the encounter is in phase 2 is done only after the end of the cast (when the sapper lands on the ship). This is how it's intended and so it is scripted in the dbm too, anyone can check the code.http://us.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3967587788. But this applies only to the sapper, no other abilities from phase 1 should be in the second phase of the fight. (you all know that i`m talking about the Broadside).
2. The bug with the grip is related to the roots. If it is rooted by a mage/druid than the grip doesnt work. It sometimes happened to work and looks like the grip has a delay because when casting the deathgrip it is rooted but then the root brakes of because of the damage taken by the sapper and it is eventually pulled to the dk. Psychic horror, chains of ice, deep freeze, RoF, bash, maim,hammer of justice, kidney, tauren racial and any other stun spell works. We never had a ele shammy on our raid to say if thunderstorm works, and don't know if boomkin's typhoon works. But all the slowing effects are applied and work as intended.

It is a fun fight, way too difficult for 10mhc and is something that pushes us all to the limits of the perfection of what means raid coordination. But without luck and lots of prayers (of mending) you can`t bring it down.
After all we all want it blizzlike, so does the freakz staff. This is the actual point of this topic.

Technically speaking, the Twilight Assault Drakes are not part of the waves. They simply fly around the ship dropping Twilight Barrage Icon Twilight Barrage. The more Drakes alive, the more Twilight Barrage the raid has to deal with.
Every time a new wave of Twilight Elite Dreadblade and Twilight Elite Slayer appears, the ship NPCs will reel in two Drakes randomly chosen from amongst the remaining Drakes. If you fail to kill a Drake before the next wave of adds, then it will be released and will go back to launching Twilight Barrage on your raid. This is especially bad because this already damaged Drake might be reeled in again by the NPCs for the next wave of adds, possibly leaving your ranged DPS to finish off any remaining drake before Phase Two begins

Tocmai mi-a murit barca in faza 2....cu bossul jos.
Se poate face ceva cu sapperul ala? e destul ca nu dau canoanele pe goriona, dar sa mai fugim si dupa sapper prin balti e chin.

E live faza cu 70% hit chance la harpoane? iar am intrat in a doua tura de dragoni si un dragon nu a fost tras deloc.( dadeau harpoanele miss la greu)

La fel am patit si noi -)))
Pai myhay , daca asa ar trebui sa mearga inseamna ca Warmaster ar trebui sa "aterizeze" dupa ce picam si drakes, nu imediat dupa ce picam elites. Noi suntem freakz , ne adaptam -.
