Problem with connecting to the server

Hello! I am a returning player, I just recently torrented the file and followed the connection guide. But when I try to connect it disconnects me! Like it will connect for a little bit and then it will say I have been disconnected. Please help, I followed everything I needed to do to get back to the world.

Have you selected Genesis realm?

Are you using the Wow.exe file from the WoW installation folder to connect to the server?
