Descriere:Nina (Portman) este o balerinã din New York a cãrei viaþã, precum a tuturor din aceastã profesie, este complet consumatã în jurul baletului. Trãieºte împreunã cu mama ei, Erica (Hershey), o fostã balerinã extrem de obsesivã, care exercitã un control sufocant asupra ei. Când directorul artistic Thomas Leroy (Cassel) decide sã o înlocuiascã pe prima balerinã Beth Maclntyre (Ryder) pentru deschiderea producþiei noului sezon Swan Lake, Nina este prima lui alegere. Însã Nina are o adversarã în competiþie; o nouã dansatoare pe nume Lily (Kunis) care reuºeºte sã îl impresioneze pânã ºi pe Leroy.
