What happened with mana regen after server restart ?

topic says it all, everyone had 20k mana regen, and after restart its 10k.

Hello, i would like to ask you if its really a ''fix'' can we get some explanation about it...


I mean at the start it was mentioned that the mana regen is like 5% after that someone said its down to 2% now... so after this ''fix'' its like 1% or less now .

How does mana pool, intellect and spirit work on retail post MOP:

- Mana pool is fixed for all classes. Every class has 60k mana @ lvl 90, spell caster dps & healers get 400% more mana meaning they got 300k mana pool at level 90.

- Intellect now only affects spell power and healing power and no longer effects mana regen or mana pool.

- Spirit now affects mana regeneration but its no longer tied to intellect to determine how much.

How to calculate your mana regen?

Out of combat ->
Total Base Mana * Spec Modifier * 0.02 + 1.1287 * Spirit

In combat ->
Total Base Mana * Spec Modifier * 0.02 + 1.1287 * Spirit * Meditation

To simplify it total base mana * 2% = 6 000 for every class.
To simplify it even further every healing spec get same 50% meditation.

So basicly:
Regen out of combat = 6 000 + 1.1287 * Spirit
Regen in combat = 6 000 + 0.56435 * Spirit
