[FIXED] [Rogue][Assassination][Passive] Envenom vs. Potent Poisons Mastery

Bug description: The mastery does not affect neither poisons, nor Envenom https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=32645
Playing and commenting with my guild members, I got interested in Assassination. After several battlegrounds one of them noticed something was off with my damage. We decided to check things out.

Proof: I did some testing. Firstly, I went to the strongest PvP dummy at Stormwind gates. Then used Assassination to get a base for comparison. Finaly I switched to Combat to compare clear damages without getting affected by Sub's mastery. The tests were done with same weapons with no buffs or use of Revealing Strike https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=84617 5 Combo Points each time.

1. Here I use Envenom https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=32645 on the dummy. Damage is 5,767

2. Here I use Eviscerate https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=2098 on the dummy. Damage is 6,855. (increased by Vitality https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=61329)

That is already pretty ODD, because according to damage schools, Eviscerate is Physical damage and is affected by Armor (2000 in this case). Envenom is Nature damage and that means it is by no means affected by ANY Armor, instead it's affected by Resistance. Then I came to the realisation that Damage Schools are not the only problem, hence this topic. I Switched back to Assassination. Since I have Potent Poisons, my poison damage should be bigger than in Combat.

1. Here I autoattack in Assassination spec with Deadly Poison. Damage is 1,511 and 1,512

2. Here I autoattack in Combat spec with Deadly Poison. Damage is 2,124 (increased by Vitality https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=61329)

There is no damage increase neither in Envenom, nor in poisons. That makes Assassination spec not only inferior to the other two, but also completely pointless to spec into.

EDIT: It is worth mentioning I did not test if it works on Venomous Wounds https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=79134 It has to, thou. If it is possible to look into that too.

Confirm. I tested the assassination spec on PVE gear too and still Deadly Poison's damage is lower on assassination spec than Deadly Poison's damage on Combat/Subtlety.

Mastery works, but only partially. I believe it's already working fine for poisons, however I noticed something wrong with Envenom.
At 5 combo points, Envenom's damage formula looks like this:

AP * 0.56 + (479 * 5)

Now, the problem is that mastery doesn't get applied to the entire formula, it only gets applied to 479*5, so the scaling is wrong:

AP * 0.56 + (479 * 5 * 1.mastery%)

instead of

[AP * 0.56 + (479 * 5)] * 1.mastery%

Need someone to retest and confirm this.

Dreadblade, thanks for looking into the matter. I did a retest and here are my results:

My AP without buffs (and with which tests were made) is 22,795
My Mastery is 57,70%. For my calculations I rounded it up to 57%
I did the test on 0 armor and 0 resil dummy.
Waited any debuffs and removed any buffs I got on me or target.
According to the formula,

[(22,795*0.56)+(479*5)]*1.57 = 23,801.514

And here are the test results:

Confirmed.

Envenom does not scale correctly with Mastery. Just the non-AP part of the spell scales with Mastery. The correct formula is [AP * 0.56 + (479 * 5)] * 1.mastery%
