Custom Christmas Event

If you are on the same cd yes. The boss is independent from the rest

Erm, while it is a nice event and I liked the quest descriptions and NPCs used, can you move the boss somewhere else, almost everybody has a cd on any difficulty on ICC because:
#1 ICC has a lot of bugs which noone bothered to fix, like killing Deathbringer too fast keeps his door closed, killing Festergut/Rotface too fast makes Professor Putricide not spawn, wiping on LK means you can't do him again, etc.
#2 You put the boss in the same instance where you put the Third Shard of Frostmourne so even more saved people because of that (if they wiped on LK etc).

=> Because of this people got IDs for at least 2 or 3 of the versions (10n, 10h, 25n). You put it in 10h where we already have a save, so we have to wait till Friday(25th, CHRISTMAS).
Yes, fine, you extended the event and thanks but people probably won't be home around Christmas-New Year.

So, again, can you move the boss to another instance (and really who cares about "icy-themed raid" if you can't do the event)? If you want to keep an icy theme, then here you go:
Eye of Eternity, Ulduar, Trial of the Crusader.

-I strongly agree with you. I just got CD on Icecrown 10hc and i have to wait for next reset on Friday to try again on CHristmas pf It should be spawned somewhere else.

I admire your effort with this event. I think its great, I loved the quests. However the idea of spawning the boss in the same location you previously sent players to obtain the quest item, is really really bad.

I will set my guild as an example. Everyone did the quest in different time, hence different id, different group, different difficulty (ICC is buggy). Now we troubled people without ID to come and join us, all for nothing, because Santa wont spawn for us on our ID. We cant reach GMs ingame to help us either, as they are spammed with countless requests of same content like ours.

That leaves us really disappointed, needless to say why.
I really do hope You can move Santa somewhere or at least remove our IDs so we can progress with our quest (not everyone can play during Christmas, so extending event duration didn't change a thing).

Guys, the people with cooldown will just have to stay at home on christmass doing bosses, and then find the scarce people who want to raid santa, and then hope the quest works and it counts. /s

we killed the boss but still 0/1... now i got cd and i know that will be hard to find another group...to wait untill 25 is too much 0.0 ...is so,so sad...i weke up today early to see if the boss is live...i was so excited the quests were amazing,nice text,nice theme...but now i.m so scaried,i will lose, i will never find a full 10 ppls frieday, i.m sure...

I really hope they do something about it, make him spawn somewhere else or something...most of us who play this event have cd on icc

prima data am trecut de armura, am omorat si evil side, nu s-a pus la quest
a doua oara am trecut de armura, l-am omorat, nu a aparut evil side
a treia , a4a, a5a oara, nu a trecut de armura, nu mergea
iar dupa am luat cd de la lider si nu mai pot face nimic, eu cu inca 10-13 oameni care au mai trecut prin raid.

I won't change the location , sorry. You can always find players without cooldown, offchars etc.

Regarding the quest, kill the Evil Side Santa Claus (after server restart)

gg...i can prouve that i killed him...stupud leader had cd...becouse of him now i have cd too...i have to wait one more week..

In that case, please be so kind as to remove the gold requirement for Second Shard and maybe increase the drop chance of First Shard from sheep. 72k gold and 1% drop chance is ridiculous and this would be a decent compensation for the players affected by the aforementioned bugs, thank you very much.

At least extend this event till after the holidays. Many of us will not be spending the holidays home . Please leave the event available till 5 January or something so everyone can do it.
