[Rogue][Assassination][Spell] Envenom

Bug description: If you have 10 CP(5 regular + 5 anticipation) and cast Envenom you get 0 CP. You should have 5 left. Evisc doesn't do this. SnD does this with Anticipation, but when you can normal CP again, the Anticipation charges are put back on and you have 10 CP again. Envenom just consumes ALL of the charges. If you have 8 or 9 charges it leave you with 3 or 4. I've seen it only on 10 CP.
Proof:
First SS has 10 CP. Second has a full Envenom buff but no more CP. There is though that weird thing with Anticipation where you get 1 CP stuck somewhere in the nether, as you can see SnD is active, but Envenom is not...

So I tested this out, and out of the 5-6 times I had 5 stacks of Anticipation, only twice I remained with none after Envenom. Really strange.

First one is right at the beginning, at 00:02, and the second one happens at 01:20.

I'll test this again later doing just this at 10 mil damage on the dummy.


Awaiting feedback, I really wanna try assassination in the future and I hope this doesn't affect it drastically.

well first things first, anticipation charges are not combo points. anticipation charges give you combo points if you use an OFFENSIVE finishing move(not recup or SnD). meaning that if you have 5 cp and 5 anticipation charges and you use SnD it should only consume the cps and leave the anticipation charges on the target. this is probably bugged on freakz as well.

that 'lost' 1 combo point is probably because of the dummy.

envenom does seem to be bugged with anticipation. i dont think it considers it a proper offensive finishing move

Or maybe it doesn't register it properly, I don't know, it's weird... It works but not 100% of the time. But I rarely see a situation being created in having 5 stacks of Anticipation on yourself and no Envenom buff already applied.

Envenom mainly role is to give you energy to spam another mutilate because of https://www.wow-freakz.com/spells.php?spell=58423 (wowhead link) Anyway , Assassination is by far the most bugged spec on rogue and the primordial bug is the very weak Deadly Poison Damage. Mastery is bugged and the damage of deadly poison is ridiculous resulting in an ineffective specialisation.

I don't know why the people who are repairing bugs doesn't have official accounts on BLizzard. I think this is a MUST , to compare between all things reported here and all things that really exist.

1.Sometimes you still have the stacks of anticipation on you but you don`t have the CP so you can't use any finishing move.
2.Sometimes you lose your anticipation stacks and get no CP.

This might be a problem from the part of the Envenom spell that says "for 1 sec plus an additional 1 sec per combo point".
