TAILORING 1-600 DETALIED GUIDE



Below is a detailed walk-through on how to level up Tailoring 1-600 easily and efficiently. This leveling guide is as complete as I can make it but some players may have to purchase extra Tailoring materials due to sometimes not getting a point from a yellowed item.

Expected Cost to level Tailoring from 1-600: 8,000g - 11,000g

Estimated Time 1-600: 3 hours

Suggestions - Auction House and disenchant all items.

45-60: Make 15 x Heavy Linen Gloves

60-75: Make 15 x Reinforced Linen Cape

• Once you hit skill level 75, talk to the Tailoring trainer and train Journeyman Tailoring. This will allow you to skill up to level 150 and requires level 10.



75-105: Make 55 x Bolt of Woolen Cloth

Required Materials:
165 x Wool Cloth


105-110: Make 5 x Green Woolen Vest

Required Materials:
10 x Bolt of Woolen Cloth
10x Fine Thread
5 x Green Dye


110-125: Make 15 x Double-Stitched Woolen Shoulders

Required Materials:
45 x Bolt of Woolen Cloth
30 x Fine Thread

Once you hit skill level 125 speak with the Tailoring trainer and learn Expert Tailoring. This will allow you to skill up to 225 and requires level 20.





125-145: Make 195 x Bolt of Silk Cloth

145-160: Make 12 x Azure Silk Hood

24 x Blue Dye


160-175: Make 17 x Silk Headband

175-185: Make 96 x Bolt of Mageweave

Once you hit skill level 200 speak with the Tailoring trainer and learn Artisan Tailor. This will allow you to skill up to 300 and requires level 35.




200-215: Make 15 x Crimson Silk Pantaloons

30 x Red Dye


215-230: Make 15 x Black Mageweave Gloves

230-250: Make 22 x Black Mageweave Headband

250-260: Make 181 x Bolt of Rune Cloth

At this point you will want to find a Master Tailoring trainer and learn how to be a Master Tailor. This will allow you to reach skill level 375 and requires level 50.




300-325: Make 150 x Bolt of Neatherweave

325-335: Make 10 x Netherweave Pants

Required Materials:
60 x Bolt of Neatherweave
10 x Rune Thread



335-350: Make 15 x Netherweave Boots

After hitting skill level 350, you'll want to head to a Grand Master Tailoring trainer and become a Grand Master Tailor. This requires level 65.







350-375: Make 225 x Bolt of Frostweave Cloth

Required Materials:
1125 x x Frostweave Cloth


375-380: Make 5 x Frostwoven Belt

Required Materials:
15 x Bolt of Frostweave Cloth
5 x Eternium Thread


380-385: Make 5 x Frostwoven Boots

At 425, see the Tailoring trainer in any major city to learn Illustrious Grand Master Tailoring. This requires character level 75 and will let you level up to the max, 525.





425-450: Make 281 x Bolt of Embersilk Cloth

450-465: Make 5 x Enchanted Spellthread

Required Materials:
15 x Bolt of Embersilk Cloth
30 x Volatile Fire


465-471: Make 3 x Ghostly Spellthread

471-477: Make 2 x Deathsilk Robe

At 500, see the Tailoring trainer in any major city to learn Zen Master Tailoring. This requires character level 80 and will let you level up to the max, 600


500-535: Make atleast 51 x Bolt of Windwool Cloth

Required Materials:
255 x Windwool Cloth


535-556: Make 7 x Windwool Shoulders

Required Materials:
28 x x Bolt of Windwool Cloth


556-568: Make 3 x Windwool Pants

Required Materials:
15 x Bolt of Windwool Cloth


568-573: Make 1 x Imperial Silk
This has a CD of one day and you'll need to go to Valley of the Four Winds, Silken Fields located in the middle south, slightly east section of the zone. Easy to get to even if you're not 86 yet.

Required Materials:
8 x Bolt of Windwool Cloth


573-577: Make 1 x Windwool Hood

Required Materials:
5 x Bolt of Windwool Cloth


577-600: From here you could just make any of the Windwool items until you hit 600. It will take approximately 48 or so to get there depending on your luck and if you have the guild perk for tradeskills.

For those who are stuck with which mobs should they kill for skinning, divide your skinning level to 5, for example mine now is 260, 260/5=52 , it actually works just because I tested it. Hope this will help and thank you for the guide!
