I tried to get the thunder ruby mount from alani. after clicking the sky crystal when i was right next to it, nothing happened. no beam shot out towards it the buff didnt go away, it kept flying away.

i put the crystal on my bar thankfully. so i have proof that i actually made it. ive been farming all week for several hours, but i dont know if this is a bug or if it is not scripted.

i did not die, i did not fight the dragon. i was on the ground when i clicked it, i dismounted, the dragon was in range, ive watched several videos on how to do this. it did not work.

basically even if i get the crystal back, what happens if it doesn't work again? im 511 destro lock so killing Alani is no problem, maybe getting the mount instead of risking bugging the crystal again would be better.

if not i can try the crystal again but if it bugs again, i will have to repost.

Happened the same thing to me today exept the mob hit me once and the reseted.
They should really help players who lost the skycrystal for nothing because it takes a really long time to farm.

Tested it and there is no problem find a flat ground as alani passes above and use sky crystal and kill it.
